“Tough times don’t last but tough people do.” – Robert Schuller
Introduction to a Series
Until the corona virus pandemic passes, I’ll be sending these daily seeds to help all of us – myself included – to make the best of it. In the turbulent times of a crisis, the goal is to maintain your direction and learned from it.
It’s been said that what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. Well, with all due respect to Friedrich Nietzsche and Kelly Clarkson and, that’s just total B..!
It is very possible, even common, for people to be broken by adversity. People are broken when they lose their focus, their confidence, and their will to fight no matter what to reach their aspirations.
I wrote a book to teach a philosophy of achievement that works in the real world. The Wealthy Gardener is about your personal power. The theme in the book, and in my own life, is that we have more than enough potential to get what we want in life, if we use our fullest powers as human beings.
And so I will be using this crisis of 2020 to empower you. In the book The wealthy Gardener, the main character says that “the way to a larger garden is to outgrow the one we got.” The same rule applies to growing a larger life.
It’s been said that tough times don’t last, but tough people do. I have found this one to be true in my own life. This corona pandemic will surely pass, but it can teach us lessons. These times can prepare us for tougher times ahead.
I’ll do my part to send daily messages to help you stay the course during these turbulent times. If these messages are helpful, I ask you to PLEASE forward them to family and friends. We’re either all in this together, or we’re not.
