We must focus on impact statistics to direct our work on the winning. – the Wealthy Gardener
LIFE LESSON 4-51 REMINDER
You know that you were born for more than just showing up and living an average busy life.
And so you want––in fact, you need–– to make an impact.
Every day, there are work hours and there are free hours. And it is the use of these passing hours that determine the impact of your life.
And so how will you use your hours? If you really want to make an impact, it’s wise to consider two questions that are vital to your results.
Ask yourself this: If you had only two hours today, which tasks would you do? What activities matter most to make an impact?
A second question may help with clarity as well: Which activities, if ignored today, would allow for bad consequences?
Take time to ponder these questions because your future depends on it. You may have the ability to reach your dreams, but your ability doesn’t matter if you don’t effectively use the hours of the days.
“Follow effective actions with quiet reflection,” said Peter Drucker. “From the quiet reflection will come even more effective actions.”
Being busy means doing stuff. Being productive means getting stuff done. Being effective means getting the most important stuff done.
What is your dream? And what actions move the needle?
